Leading AV company, Anna Valley, recently provided outdoor LED displays for the worldwide premiere of “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” which took place at both the Odeon and IMAX Cineworld at Leicester Square on September 18, 2017. The event was attended by stars Taron Egerton and Channing Tatum, Oscar-winning cast members Colin Firth, Julianne Moor, Jeff Bridges, Halley Berry and Elton John and director, Matthew Vaughn.
With a 150m-long red carpet leading to the two venues, the premiere needed an engaging visual element to entertain fans and provide a photographic backdrop. To this end, Anna Valley provided eight, high-resolution 4.5x2m outdoor LED displays which lined the red carpet, showing montages of clips and graphics from the film. Each screen was made up of 36xOD4 LED panels, rigged on a 6m Layher tower that provided a neat solution for video, lighting and branding in one box. Film premiere production specialists, Limited Edition Event Design incorporated these with a Big TV SkyFly screen sitting directly above the stage and three permanent LED screens on the walls of the Odeon to create a visual display that matched the scale of the Kingsman franchise.

James Barnfather, Limited Edition Event Design, managing director comments:
“Anna Valley provided the video displays for the premiere of “Dunkirk” earlier this year and everyone was impressed with the quality of the screens. Unlike outdoor events, such as concerts, where the screens are 30m or more away from the audience, film premiere audiences are very close to the screen – we need indoor quality with outdoor properties. The OD4 outdoor LED display ticks both boxes.”
